Also for the lining of our boots we only make use of high quality leather which has been tanned and produced in Europe. For the lining of our boots, short boots and chaps you can choose between pork, calf, cow and napa leather.
Using calf and cow leather makes the shaft a little bit stiffer, pork and napa leather will be used for a soft/comfortable boot.
Most dressage riders prefer a stiffener on the outside of the bootleg and a soft inside to have a good feeling for the horse. Here we would recommend to use a cow or calf leather lining and to add an additional stiffener on the outside of the shaft. For extra contact to the horse we can also line the inside with a soft napa leather.
INFO for allergic person
Contact allergy to harmful dyestuffs and allergy to chrome are rising. That`s why we offer all models with a vegetable tanned inside lining. Please note on your order!
On request we can line all models with lambskin (whole shaft or only the foot). We use only real lamskin because of serveral advantages over faux fur:
- compensate the temperature – pleasant on hot summer days – warm on cold days
- convey humidity and heat– breathable – affiliated sweat will delivered much faster to the air
- antibacterial, disinfectant – also for allergic person
- cuddly, elastic – high resistance
